Restorative Dentistry in Winslow, AZ
From fillings to crowns, bridges, and implants, we rebuild damaged and missing teeth so you can eat, speak, and smile with comfort and confidence again.
Rebuild Your Smile, the Conservative Way
If a tooth is broken, decayed, or missing, restorative dentistry is how we get your mouth back to fully functional. Dr. Gardner's approach is simple: save what we can, replace what we have to, and walk you through the trade-offs honestly so you can pick what fits your mouth and your budget. Most restorative work is done in-house, including bridges, fillings, dentures, and the restoration side of dental implants.
What we offer in restorative dentistry
Dental Bridges
A fixed bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring to the teeth on either side. Crafted in our partner lab, fitted in our office, built to last.
Learn moreTooth-Colored Fillings
Cavities filled with composite that matches your natural tooth color. Strong, sealed, and invisible when you smile.
Learn moreInlays & Onlays
When a tooth has too much damage for a filling but doesn't need a full crown, inlays and onlays restore the chewing surface while keeping more of the natural tooth.
Learn moreDentures
Full dentures, partial dentures, and denture repairs — fitted to your mouth with care, and often with consolidated appointments for patients driving in from out of town.
Learn moreDental Implant Restorations
Crowns and bridges placed on implants that have been surgically positioned. We handle the restoration side; surgical placement is referred to a trusted local specialist.
Learn moreWhat a Bridge Actually Does
A dental bridge fills the gap left by one or more missing teeth by anchoring to the healthy teeth on either side. Unlike a removable partial, a bridge is fixed — it stays in place when you eat, talk, and sleep. It restores your bite, prevents your other teeth from shifting, and looks completely natural.
Why Tooth-Colored Fillings
Tooth-colored composite is bonded directly to your tooth, which means we can preserve more of the healthy structure than older filling materials required. The result is a filling that's invisible in your smile, seals against decay, and feels like a natural tooth. We don't place silver fillings.
When You Need an Inlay or Onlay
If your tooth has too much damage for a filling but the cusps and walls are still healthy, an inlay or onlay restores the chewing surface without the more aggressive prep that a full crown requires. Inlays sit inside the cusps; onlays cover one or more cusps. Both preserve more of your natural tooth than a crown would.
Full Dentures
When all your upper or lower teeth are missing or need to be replaced, a full denture restores your bite, your speech, and your face shape. We work with a trusted partner lab to craft dentures that look natural and fit comfortably. The process takes several visits — for out-of-town patients, we often consolidate appointments to reduce trips.
What We Handle, What We Refer
A dental implant has two parts: the surgical placement of the implant post in your jawbone, and the restoration that goes on top (the crown or bridge that becomes your visible tooth). Dr. Gardner does the restoration side. Surgical placement is referred to a trusted local specialist so you get the right expertise at every step.
